Your profile
Wattstor is seeking a skilled Machine Learning engineer with software development capabilities to join our team working on Energy Management System (EMS). In this role, you will contribute to maintenance and enhancement of our prediction models for site electricity consumption and photovoltaic or wind turbine generation. You'll be instrumental in setting up Machine Learning Operations (MLOps). Your responsibilities will include managing existing models, refining them, and participate on development of new ones. This entails data analysis, data processing, pattern identification, model development, and predictive analytics. Before implementing any model into production, you will also be responsible for evaluating its Proof of Concept (PoC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, train, and optimise machine learning models
- Data preprocessing and feature engineering
- Vendor management, including task assignment and monitoring
- Time management and project management
- Create and present reports for management and clients
- Collaborate with data analysts, software engineers, and business teams
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a field related to data science, statistics, computer science, or a similar field
- Experience with programming languages such as Python and RestAPI (ideally FastAPI)
- Familiarity with machine learning tools like scikit-learn, PyTorch, etc.
- Experience with MLops
- Experience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and time series data (Influx, AWS Timestream)
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with data visualisation tools, such as Grafana
- Experience with cloud solutions focusing on data science and machine learning
- Experience with vendor management and outsourcing (Advantage)
- Experience with energy sector (Advantage)
- Czech and English language
