Wattstor ist ein innovatives Unternehmen im Bereich automatisiertes Energiemanagement und Batteriespeichersysteme. Das schnell wachsende, Privat Equity finanzierte Unternehmen hat die Energie-Management-Plattform „Podium“ entwickelt – eine Kombination aus modernster Hardware und intelligenter Automatisierungssoftware, die Einsparungen bei den Energiekosten maximiert und die Integration von dezentralen Energieressourcen und Technologien (DER) vor Ort fördert.
Wir führen derzeit in Deutschland unser neuestes, hoch innovatives Produkt ein: Price Protect. Im Kontext von Price Protect baut, finanziert, betreibt und optimiert Wattstor komplette Erneuerbare-Energie-Systeme an einem Standort – einschließlich aller Anlagen für die Erzeugung regenerativer Energie, einem Batteriespeicher und unserem Energiemanagementsystems (EMS) „Podium“. Wir verkaufen den damit erzeugten Strom und den darüber hinaus benötigten Netzstrom zu einem Preis, der immer garantiert unter dem Marktpreis liegt, und schützen unsere Kunden mit einem festen, gedeckelten Tarif vor Preisschwankungen.

Die Zielgruppe für unsere Produkte sind kleine und mittlere Unternehmen, Industrieanlagen und die Ladeinfrastruktur für Elektrofahrzeuge. Unsere derzeitigen Referenzen befinden sich in ganz Europa, darunter Großbritannien, die Tschechische Republik, die Slowakei, Polen und Kroatien.
Für unseren Markteintritt in Deutschland suchen wir schnellstmöglich einen/eine Solution/Application Engineer.

Die Rolle:

Wir suchen eine/n proaktive/n, zielorientierte/n und freundliche/n Kollegin/en mit Kenntnissen und Erfahrung im Bereich Elektrotechnik für die Position des Solution Engineer. Die Hauptverantwortlichkeiten dieser Rolle umfassen die Entwicklung standortspezifischer technologischer Lösungen und die Integration unserer Produkte in das Energiesystem des Kunden. Darüber hinaus wird der Solution Engineer aktiv mit Kunden und Technologieanbietern kommunizieren, Produkte von Mitbewerbern recherchieren, Verbesserungen unserer Batteriesysteme vorschlagen und das technologische Angebot unseres Unternehmens sukzessive erweitern. Zu den Aufgaben gehört auch die Steuerung der Implementierungsprozesse in Zusammenarbeit mit internen Kolleg:innen aus den Abteilungen Softwareentwicklung und Technisches Engineering sowie Projekt Management. Diese Funktion bietet die Gelegenheit, einen aktiven Beitrag zur Energiewende zu leisten und das internationale Wachstum von Wattstor mitzugestalten.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Erster Ansprechpartner für technische Fragen des Kunden, sowie intern
Verantwortung für die technische Seite des Kundenangebotes
Detaillierte technische Analyse und Bewertung von BTM-Lösungen für Solar PV/Wind/EV/Batterie-Installationen
Enge Abstimmung mit dem Vertrieb und dem kommerziellen Team, um ein optimales Gesamtsystem zu designen
Ausarbeitung der technischen Lösung für den Kunden, basierend auf Wattstors Technologie (und unterstützt, wo notwendig, durch Wattstors Technologie Team) und der spezifischen Standortsituation beim Kunden (z.Bsp.: Netzanschluss, Niederspannungsverteilung vor Ort, Anschlusspunkt, Platzverhältnisse usw)
Erstellung des technischen Konzepts (z.Bsp.: Einliniendiagramme, Einbindung ins Netz vor Ort, Feuerlöschsystem usw) und Präsentation vor dem Kunden
Kommunikation und Zusammenarbeit mit dem EPC Partner während der Installationsphase
Technische Dokumentation des Projekts und des Projektfortschritts zusammen mit dem Projektingenieur
Bereitstellung von Einblicken und Empfehlungen zur technischen Optimierung des Systemdesigns
Regelmäßig auf dem Laufenden halten zu technischen Entwicklungen und Regulierungen im Bereich Behind the Meter Energiesysteme
Training mit dem Technologie Team für neue Produkte

Dein Profil

Anforderungen:

Der/die ideale Kandidat/in hat einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Elektrotechnik oder verwandten Fachgebieten, mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung im elektrotechnischen Bereich und vor allem Erfahrung im Bereich erneuerbare Energien oder elektrische Energie.
Hinzukommen Kenntnisse im Lesen und Erstellen von Projektkonzeptionen und -dokumentationen, gute Computerkenntnisse und elektrische Qualifikationen. Außerdem ist ein Führerschein von Vorteil.
Der/die Kandidat/in sollte über eine starke Arbeitsmoral, Kreativität, eine aktive und initiative Herangehensweise sowie analytisches und konzeptionelles Denken verfügen und Zusammenhänge über etablierte Verfahren hinaus erkennen können.

Qualifikationen:

Du hast mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in Elektrotechnik und Energiesystemen idealerweise nach einem Studium, ergänzt um Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen mit erneuerbaren Stromquellen
Du hast „hands-on“ Erfahrung mit Installationen vor Ort
Du kennst Dich mit Deutschen Elektrischen Regulierungen und Bauvorschriften für Solar/Batterieprojekte gut aus
Du bist präzise und unabhängig in deiner Arbeitsweise, hast ein tolles Zeitmanagement und verstehst es, über den Fortschritt deiner Arbeiten an verschiedene Stakeholder zu berichten
Du kombinierst deine Kreativität mit Sinn für technologische und nachhaltige Innovation
Außerdem bringst du eine hohe Kompetenz in schriftlicher und mündlicher Kommunikation in Deutsch und Englisch mit, hast eine selbstbewusste, proaktive, respektvolle und positive Einstellung

Your mission

Wattstor is an innovative company in the field of automated energy management and battery storage systems. This fast-growing, private equity-backed company has developed the energy management platform "Podium" – a combination of state-of-the-art hardware and intelligent automation software that maximizes energy cost savings and promotes the on-site integration of distributed energy resources and technologies (DER).
We are currently launching our newest, highly innovative product in Germany: Price Protect. Within the context of Price Protect, Wattstor builds, finances, operates, and optimizes complete renewable energy systems at a single location – including all renewable energy generation facilities, a battery storage system, and our energy management system (EMS) "Podium." We sell the electricity generated and the additional grid power required at a price that is always guaranteed to be below the market price, protecting our customers from price fluctuations with a fixed, capped tariff.

The target audience for our products are small and medium-sized enterprises, industrial facilities, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Our current references are located throughout Europe, including the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and Croatia.
For our market entry in Germany, we are seeking a Solution/Application Engineer as soon as possible.

The role:
We are seeking a proactive, goal-oriented, and friendly colleague with knowledge and experience in electrical engineering for the position of Solution Engineer. The main responsibilities of this role include the development of site-specific technological solutions and the integration of our products into the customer's energy system. In addition, the Solution Engineer will actively communicate with customers and technology providers, research competitor products, propose improvements to our battery systems, and gradually expand our company's technological offering. Responsibilities also include managing implementation processes in collaboration with internal colleagues from the Software Development and Technical Engineering departments, as well as Project Management. This role offers the opportunity to actively contribute to the energy transition and help shape Wattstor's international growth.

Responsibilities:

Primary point of contact for technical questions from the customer, as well as internally

Responsibility for the technical side of the customer proposal

Detailed technical analysis and evaluation of BTM solutions for solar PV/wind/EV/battery installations

Close coordination with the sales and commercial team to design an optimal overall system

Development of the technical solution for the customer, based on Wattstor's technology (and support, where necessary, by Wattstor's technology team) and the customer's specific site situation (e.g., grid connection, on-site low-voltage distribution, connection point, space constraints, etc.)

Preparation of the technical concept (e.g., single-line diagrams, on-site grid connection, fire extinguishing system, etc.) and presentation to the customer

Communication and collaboration with the EPC partner during the installation phase

Technical documentation of the project and project progress together with the project engineer

Providing insights and recommendations for the technical optimization of the system design

Regularly staying informed about technical developments and regulations in the behind-the-meter sector Energy Systems

Training with the Technology Team for new products

Your profile

Requirements:
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, at least five years of electrical engineering experience, and primarily experience in the renewable energy or electrical energy sector.
They also have the ability to read and create project concepts and documentation, strong computer skills, and electrical qualifications. A driver's license is also an advantage.

The candidate should possess a strong work ethic, creativity, a proactive and proactive approach, analytical and conceptual thinking, and the ability to see beyond established procedures.

Qualifications:

You have at least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering and energy systems, ideally after a degree, supplemented by knowledge and experience with renewable energy sources.
You have hands-on experience with on-site installations.
You are well-versed in German electrical regulations and building codes for solar/battery projects.
You are precise and independent in your work, have excellent time management skills, and understand how to report on the progress of your work to various stakeholders.
You combine your creativity with a sense of technological and sustainable innovation.
You also have strong written and oral communication skills in German and English, and you have a confident, proactive, respectful, and positive attitude.
And finally, you are highly willing to work as part of a team with ambitious companies.
