IT Support Engineer

Your mission
Wattstor is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our growing renewable energy business in Europe.
In this role, you will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support across multiple platforms ensuring seamless operations, high-quality user assistance, and consistent IT standards for our international teams.
You will also contribute to strengthening our cybersecurity posture by applying best practices in endpoint protection, user access management, and secure configuration within Microsoft and Google environments.
This position is based in Brno, Czech Republic, working closely with colleagues across the UK, Germany, and other locations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. IT Support & Operations
    • Deliver 1st and 2nd line technical support for end users across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
    • Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments, including user account administration, permissions, and security configurations.
    • Handle end-user onboarding and offboarding, ensuring timely setup, access provisioning, and secure deprovisioning of accounts and devices.
    • Maintain and enforce device management and compliance policies using Intune (MDM) and related tools.
    • Manage mobile device enrollment processes and configurations for iOS and Android users.
    • Keep the hardware asset inventory and documentation up to date, ensuring accurate tracking of all company devices and peripherals.

  2. Cybersecurity Support
    • Support the implementation of security baselines and compliance across Intune, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
    • Monitor for potential security incidents and escalate where necessary.
    • Collaborate with the IT Security team to ensure endpoint protection through Microsoft Defender and other tools.
    • Promote and uphold best practices in data protection and secure system usage.

  3. Collaboration & Process Improvement
    • Work closely with local and remote teams to provide consistent IT support across multiple countries.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of IT processes, documentation, and the internal knowledge base.
    • Partner with external vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance, and escalations.



Your profile
  • Proven experience providing Level 1 and 2 IT support in multi-platform environments (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune (MDM), Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender.
  • Experience with Google Workspace administration.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Okta, or HubSpot is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills for hardware asset tracking and lifecycle management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-country, distributed team environment.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Czech or Slovak language
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience: 5–10 years in IT support roles, ideally with exposure to cybersecurity tools and practices.
  • Education: Degree or equivalent professional experience in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-900, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with device lifecycle management, access control, and cloud-based security compliance.
