Commissioning engineer

Your mission
Role purpose:
As a specialist in this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful deployment, integration, and optimization of modern energy systems.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and technicians to develop comprehensive commissioning plans and schedules for systems.
  • Configure and integrate electronic equipment and control systems within the energy infrastructure, ensuring seamless compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Conduct system startup, functional testing, and calibration to verify proper operation and address any issues or malfunctions.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems related to electronic systems using diagnostic tools and methodologies.
  • Perform performance and efficiency evaluations of energy systems, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of projects and project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting commissioning activities.

Your profile
Required Skills and Experience
  • Secondary/Higher education in electrical or electrical engineering fields.
  • Problem-solving skills with a methodical and analytical approach.
  • Demonstrable experience in commissioning electronic systems, preferably in the field of energy.
  • Knowledge of modern energy technologies, including electricity generation, renewable energy sources, energy storage, and smart grid systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Driver's license category B.
  • Knowledge of basic principles of computer networks
  • Ability to configure and work with common network devices
  • Knowledge of basic network diagnostics
  • Basic understanding of serial communication
  • Ability to read network diagrams and manuals
  • Proficiency in English and Czech or Slovak (both spoken and written).
  • Holds a valid certification according to §7 of Decree No. 194/2002 Coll., or meets the required experience and will obtain the certification after starting the position
  • Willingness to be on call
